Coraline is a young girl who lives a modest life in the English countryside with parents who aren’t wonderful and aren’t terrible either. Everything in her life feels just a bit “meh.” That is, until one day, when she finds a door with a brick wall behind it in her home. She manages to slip through the doorway into another world where she meets her “Other-Mother” who is *almost* perfect in every way. Coraline has finally gotten the life and family that she has dreamed of… or has she? When Other-Mother begins to show her more sinister side, Coraline has to find her way back home to avoid being trapped in a life that is not her own forever.
